Broadview Networks Domain Mail Control Panel
Users Guide
Broadview offers a simple to use domain management control panel, for administration of your domain, at your convenience. You can reach this control panel at the following URL
http://webmail.broadviewnet.net/cgi-bin/qmailadmin
Using this control panel you can setup new mailboxes, reset passwords, and forward mail, all using a simple to use web interface. Once your domain has been built on Broadview's servers, you can create any existing mailboxes you had, and any new ones you wish to create.
To begin, log into the Control Panel HERE using the username postmaster , your postmaster password, and your domain.

Once you have logged in you will see a screen with choices.

Email Accounts - Allows you to view and manage existing email addresses. It also allows you to set a default account to deliver any mail that does not have a valid mailbox.
WARNING

Setting this will catch ALL mail that does not
have a valid mail box,
including misspellings that in most cases should be
bounced.
Aliases Forwards - Allows you to view and manage existing Aliases and Forwards
New Email Accounts- Allows mail boxes to added deleted and passwords to be reset.
New Aliases - This allows you to setup an email address that sends mail to an existing mailbox. In other words you can have sales, info and support all point to an existing mailbox.
New Forwards - This allows you to forward all mail sent to
an address to another. So you could send all your mail to your AOL or
hotmail account.
Click on the New Email Accounts link in the Quick Links Section.
You will see the screen below

Enter the name you want for the email address.
Enter the password and the real name in the boxes provided.
Click Add and your pop box will be ready to use immediately.
Click on the New Aliases link
You will see a screen like below

Select the mail account you want to associate this aliases with in the Pop Account list box.
Type the mailbox you wish to call this aliases for example if you want an aliases for sales@somedomain.com enter sales.
Now all mail sent to this address will be delivered to the mailbox selected.
Click on the Add New Forward in the Forwards Section
You will see a screen like the one below

When finished managing your domain logout and return to the login screen.
